RAMS POWER TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, is manufacturing highly qualified Electrical Power Distribution Transformer according to IEC (International Electro-technical Commission) and BDS ranging from 50KVA to 3000 KVA. Distribution Transformation are made of non aging, highly permeable Cold Rolled Grain Oriented (CRGO) Silicon Steel Sheet and electrolytic copper of highest quality . The Transformer’s quality control is carried out at all stages of production according to IEC 76 and BDS 1081 standards. Construction :

Core : The Transformer core is metered cut from lamination type CRGO Silicon Steel sheet with stepped limb and yoke, so as to obtain a maximum possible low loss magnetic circuit. The core is fixed into a designed shaped and clamped by heavy steel channel & tie rod.


Winding : Rams Power use high grade imported copper for LT (Low Tension) winding and high conductivity, pin hole free super enameled copper wire for HT (High Tension) winding. Circular type & rectangular type windings are respectively used for relatively large or small type transformers. Axial and radial ducts and channels in the windings allow the cooling and insulating liquid to quickly and uniformly dissipate heat due to losses. The round conductor windings consist of individually wound coil connected in series to produce the phase winding. Windings with rectangular conductors are of the continuous disc type or the layer type.



Insulation : The dielectric circuit of the transformer which isolated the magnetic & electric circuit & their parts, maintaining high insulation level, is formed by insulating paper, press boards, bakelite and transformer oil of the highest quality .


Tanks : The tank is designed and constructed with high quality mild steel along with radiator and conservator. The finished tank is well tested for leak proof and the surface is degreased, thoroughly cleaned and shot blasted. Ram Power is providing high quality weatherproof painting on the tank with three coats; one coat of anti corrosive Zinc Chromate primer and two coats of finishing paint. Each coat is applied uniformly and cured at even temperature.

Accessories : All Standard accessories such as high quality Tap Changer, imported Bushing, Temperature gauge, Oil level indicator, Buchholz Relay (optional), Silica gel Breather, Radiator, Radiator Valve (optional), and Pressure Relief Device (optional) are provided in the transformer of the highest quality for safety, monitoring, smooth operation and maintenance.
